Baltimore, MD, June 26, 2017 – Ride Like The Wind, the latest music video and radio single from Jim Samuel is poised to take off this summer. The Jim Samuel cover of the Christopher Cross anthem, Ride Like The Wind, features Tony Neenan on Trumpet and Jim Samuel on keyboards. Ride Like The Wind was originally released as part of the Smooth Covers debut album in 2013, but Ride Like The Wind was never released as a radio single until now, a fresh breeze just in time for summer.
Paul Mac at Phase Global Radio said Jim Samuel’s cover version is "the coolest new release this Summer" and “it captures more of the Jazz from the song, with Tony Neenan leading the way on trumpet, while still trying to stay true to some of the classic rock elements. With Ride Like The Wind, Jim Samuel has found his way back to his roots in music. So, this summer, grab your windsurfing board and Ride Like The Wind!
In the video, Jim Samuel is proud to feature a number of clips and stills of his niece, champion wake-boarder, Alisa Topper. Alisa is a Baltimore area native and competes throughout North America, recently competing in the Rider Experience South event in Lake Norman, North Carolina where she brought home another first-place trophy. Other elements in the video were shot on location in New Smyrna Beach and Cape Canaveral FL, two beaches where the breeze is always perfect!
